2016 Auto Expo is host to not new cars, but the classics Vintage Cars too. From iconic bikes used in ‘Dhoom’, ‘Bobby‘ and ‘Sholay‘, to the famous Rampyari driven by Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Akayla’, this section has six vehicles used by Bollywood. You can also spot the Fiat that Rajesh Khanna drives in ‘Mere Jeevan Saathi’.
The famous Rampyari driven by Amitabh Bachchan in Akayla, was a modified version of this 1966 Volkswagen Beetle. Inspector Vijay Verma sang Chal chal ri meri Raam Pyari… in a similar car.
We also spotted the Fiat that Rajesh Khanna drives in the song Chala jata hoon kisi ki dhun mein in Mere Jeevan Saathi. It’s a 1965 Fiat Spyder that was used in a movie.
